The MOLET’s staff has dedicated itself to supporting the emotional well-being of children and their families and other affected people in Israel after October 7th.
In these challenging times, we’ve mobilized our resources, offering meaningful workshops across the nation. The focus is on children and families displaced from both southern and northern borders, providing them with creative and constructive workshops. These sessions not only enhance their creativity but also develop their skills in manually creating furniture pieces and toys from upcycled wood.
Woodworking is a proven form of art therapy that allows people who are struggling to cope take control of their symptoms through creative expression.
Conducted in the relocated families’ new environments, our young team members bring the necessary materials and tools, ensuring these workshops offer a therapeutic outlet and a sense of normalcy restoring the feeling of togetherness and hope.
